We offer many different types of terrain for your hunting. You can choose to hunt along river/creek bottoms with alfalfa fields running beside them. You may prefer the deep draws with thick undergrowth that provides ample cover and bedding areas for the deer. Maybe you will enjoy stalking through the rolling hills onto bow distance from monster whitetails. (Don't think it can't be done; I successfully got within bow range this year!) Any way you choose to hunt, this ranch can provide you the chance to harvest a monster buck.

Comments from Jared,
North-End Foreman and Head Guide
The Hashknife is a working cattle ranch that prides itself on three things: our high-quality beef, our traditional ranch lifestyle, and our abundant wildlife. Until recently, we have allowed only a very few bow-hunters and even fewer rifle hunters access to the place. We've finally decided, in changing times, to open our ranch to a few paying hunters. Because this is a cattle ranch, we specialize in free-range hunts. We will not guarantee that you harvest a trophy Whitetail or Rio Grande turkey, but you should definitely see at least one while you're here.
Hope to see you this fall!
Bob Forrest has hunted on the ranch for many years and guides for us when he can spare the time. He's very familiar with the property and knows a lot about the deer here. My brother Rob and brother-in-law Matt Simmons recently began guiding for us on occasion. Rob has his own cattle herd on the ranch, but lives and works in Wichita and enjoys helping out with Hunt the Hashknife.
Jenna and Matt also have their own cattle here and careers elsewhere, but they come home to the ranch whenever they can.
